Kapitel 15: Marking territories
The door bell at Svetlana's place was ringing, the cleaning lady was around she answered the door.
'Hello! Am looking for your boss. Is she around?'
' Yes she is around. Come in and wait in the living room, let me notify her.'
She went up stairs to get Svetlana, she was at Kith's room packing for the weekend they are going to spend at Recce's place. She knocked at the door and entered.
'Madam, their is a lady called Michaela, she is waiting in the living room she is here to see you.' Said the cleaning lady.
She sighed, 'i will be there shortly.' She finally responded
'Hello Michaela , what brings you into my home.' Svetlana asked from the doorway of the living room.
' I came to talk about Recce.' She replied
"'What is there to talk about him with you?' Mused Svetlana."
' I am still in love with Recce, me and him go way back since we were kids. Our families' are friends, we have so much in common with each other. His parents will never approve of you to be his wife, someone with an illegitimate son will bring a disgrace to their family name. My advice to you move on find some else. Eventually he will get tired of you and come back to me.'
Svetlana was filled with anger and pain inside of her. She could not let her continue speaking those harsh words to her.
' Are you done? Now leave my house this moment.'
Michaela stood up from where she was seated.
' Be warned.' She said coolly with a smile and left.
' Tears ran down Svetlana's cheeks as the door shut loudly.
She started replaying all the words Michaela had said and trying to analyse if there is any truth to it.
Mika had just packed outside Recce's hotel, when he saw Recce's car approaching from the road. Recce parked his vehicle next to where Mika was standing.
'Hi , its been long. We do not hang out together as we used to?' Mika asked.
' I have been very busy lately.' Recce replied showing evidently that he was not interested with the conversation.
Mika noticed his coldness towards him.
' Is screwing my ex- girlfriend what making you busy. 'Mika shouted angrily.
' You broke the bro code.' He added.
' I do not have to give you details and explanations of who i date. Just know that you had the chance to date a good woman and you blew it. Now she is mine.' Recce replied.
He started to walk away, but Mika was not yet done with him. He went in front of him to block his path. Recce body guards blocked him.
' I want her back, she was mine.' Mika shouted
'Go get a life, there is nothing to fight for here.' Recce responded to him coolly
While walking away Recce saw Svetlana's car approaching them.
