It was an ordinary day for a young female scientist. She ran quickly into her lab, ready for her third week at work, her green eyes sparkled with anxiousness as her midnight black hair flowed freely, bouncing on her waist.

"Azalea, you're late... again," the head scientist said, looking at the young woman with mixed emotions.

"I'm sorry, Edgar. I woke up very early, but I slept off in the bus," Azalea explained, going to get her things ready when she broke a pipette glass. "Oops! Sorry," Azalea bent down to pick it up, only for the glass to pierce her skin.

"Ow!" she winced, and Edgar quickly rushed to stand beside her.

"Go and get it treated; I'll clean up the mess," he said, looking at the woman who had worked in the lab for a while but was still as clumsy as ever.
