Kapitel 152: Crushing Planets
Lord Fleen screeched, "You scoundrel! I shall tear you apart!"
Flinnder smirked, "Even with you helping your Champion they still didn't win. A shame Fleen, it seems you are not worthy of being Duke."
"You-!"
A Duke shouted, "Enough! Do not disgrace yourself further!"
Fleen ground his teeth, to think he was eliminated first!
As if to prove this fact, the blue screen above the stand turned red. To show that Fleen was fully disqualified.

A sword moved and knocked a neon brown arrow from the sky. The figure holding the sword shouted, "I was unaware that Demonic Wrath meant running and shooting!"
No answer was heard, instead more neon brown arrows were shot forward. The figure smacked their lips. Fighting a ranged character wasn't the best.
This figure was Crushing Planets. A sword wielder facing against Demonic Wrath.
Demonic Wrath a had strange ability to camouflage themself. It didn't turn them invisible, nor did it hide them with an illusion. Instead it acted like a superior form of a chameleon's camouflage.
The arrows were made of some energy and were extremely dangerous. Crushing Planets had to utilize some mana just to be able to make contact with them.
Another arrow shot, Crushing Planets dodged and bolted in the direction it came from. While swinging their sword horizontally they murmured, "[Mana Flow: Extended Reach]."
The blade shimmered and a silhouette of an extension of the sword appeared. As they swung the sword hit something, that something's colors changed and it showed to be Demonic Wrath.
The extended silhouette faded but this didn't matter much, they had found their target. Demonic Wrath fired off an arrow, yet Crushing Planets dodged.
Getting close Crushing Planets began to strike. Yet Demonic Wrath's bow disassembled in less than a second, turning into two daggers. The limbs of the bow were made of a metal, this metal was sharpened and turned into daggers. Allowing the bow to split apart into two.
Demonic Wrath blocked the sword with their dagger before flipping the other into a reverse hand grip and returning a strike.
Crushing Planets retreated and the dagger sailed past. They weren't expecting the range used to also be proficient in close combat.
Crushing Planets murmured, "[Mana Flow: Rising Waters]."
Their sword began to glow and they began a flurry of strikes. Demonic Wrath wasn't to be pressured however, and blocked all of the strikes.
Boom-!
A character crashed between them. Their body remained unmoving. They both looked at where it came from, a figure with glowing yellow and orange material covering them stood menacingly.
Another blue screen was turned red. The name on it was Harbinger of Doom. Erupting Volcano had easily defeated them. After doing so they found two new opponents.
Erupting Volcano walked menacingly over, "You two are next."
Crushing Planets and Demonic Wrath looked at each other. A mutual understanding formed immediately. This guy was trouble, it would be best to temporarily team up.
Erupting Volcano understood this too, "Oh? Befriending on the battlefield is it? At least your smart."
The two took off, weapons brandished. Crushing Planets took the lead. Several sword strikes were made, a set of weird afterimages followed the blade.
Erupting Volcano didn't bother to dodge. Instead they raised their arm, the yellow and orange substance expanded and blocked the incoming attacks.
A neon brown arrow flew through an opening. The yellow-orange substance expanded and blocked the arrow. The substance then shrunk. Demonic Wrath saw Erupting Volcano staring right at them, even though they were camouflaged.
They smirked, "A hasty alliance means your teamwork is heavily flawed. A shame."
Crushing Planets was attacked. The yellow-orange substance slammed into them, it was extremely hot. It seemed to melt the skin off of their body.
Crushing Planets screamed from the pain. Erupting Volcano grinned, "Yes! You are merely prey. Prey that cannot escape!"
Twang~
A large neon brown arrow zoomed across the field. Erupting Volcano raised the yellow-orange substance. This time the arrow pierced through.
Erupting Volcano was surprised to see their defenses ignored. But it didn't matter, even though the arrow pierced their defenses. It didn't hold enough power to damage them.
Crushing Planets had found an opportunity however. The moment Erupting Volcano was distracted they escaped. Closing their eyes in pain they murmured, "[Mana Flow: Cellular Recovery]."
Slowly the sickening burns slowly faded away. Crushing Planets grit their teeth, to think they would have to use a trump card so soon!
"[Mana Flow: Overdrive]."
Crushing Planets' veins began to glow. They felt power course through their body. They felt everything slow around them. Crushing Planets focused on Erupting Volcano, it was time to end this.
Similarly, Demonic Wrath began using their trump card. Two feathers extended from their head like horns. They curled back and stopped in the middle of their head.
Erupting Volcano saw the changes between the two and grinned, "Fight with everything you have! You are going to need it!"
Crushing Planets dashed forward, their sword swinging through the air. Erupting Volcano raised the yellow-orange substance to block. Yet a neon brown arrow pierced past, distracting them.
Crushing Planets landed a strike, only to see the same yellow-orange substance form on their body. Erupting Volcano grinned, "Did you think you hit me?"
A flurry of neon brown arrows followed. The arrows now had three neon white feathers on them. Erupting Volcano shielded themself, but the arrows proved to be more troublesome.
The arrows pierced through and began to reach them. Erupting Volcano covered themself with more of the yellow-orange substance.
Crushing Planets felt the heat from the substance but continued pushing. An energy condensed on their blade. Whilst swinging they murmured, "[Mana Flow: Collapsing Pressure].
Boom-!
A shockwave formed from the sword hitting Erupting Volcano. The yellow-orange substance flew everywhere. Erupting Volcano themself was pushed back.
Demonic Wrath wasn't going to let such an opportunity go. Sliding forward they shot an arrow to the sky. Then as it traveled they charged another.
With a second of charging they fired it, the neon brown arrow was larger and faster than the rest. It flew and pierced into Erupting Volcano easily. The first arrow Demonic Wrath shot exploded in the sky. Hundreds of arrows fell in a condensed spot around Erupting Volcano.
Putting up the substance to shield they laughed, "Good!"
An explosion of the substance took place. Knocking the remaining descending arrows out of the sky. Erupting Volcano then charged toward Crushing Planets, "You shall all fall before me!"
Crushing Planets hurriedly guarded themself. Erupting Volcano was a strong adversary they couldn't underestimate.
Erupting Volcano began to attack. Due to the sheer heat of their attacks, Crushing Planets was forced to dodge every attack.
Demonic Wrath approached closer and shot several arrows at Erupting Volcano. After reaching three meters in distance the bow became a blur, then into two daggers.
Crushing Planets and Demonic Wrath then began a tag team attack. Between evading attacks and striking when possible. With the both of them they were slowly pushing Erupting Volcano back.
Their surroundings then suddenly changed, the substance arose from five meters away and quickly closed upon them.
The heat became suffocating, both Crushing Planets and Demonic Wrath were breathing heavily.
Erupting Volcano gripped the head of Demonic Wrath, "A shame, with a curse to make you unable to speak. I won't be able to hear your sweet screams."
Demonic Wrath frantically tried to free themself. The pain was unbearable.
Crushing Planets attempted to help, but Erupting Volcano sent a wave of the yellow-orange substance towards them.
Seeing the wave Crushing Planets grit their teeth. To think that they would have to use their final trump card so soon!
Their veins began to glow brighter. An energy began to circle their sword. Crushing Planets took a single step forward and spoke, "[Mana Release: Overlapped Infinities]."
Crushing Planets appeared on the opposite side of Erupting Volcano. Their sword gleamed from the bright yellow-orange substance.
Boom-!
A line formed diagonally across Erupting Volcano and the dome they created with the substance.
This line faded and everything on the other sides of the line were separated. Cut cleanly.
Erupting Volcano's face was full of surprises. Such an attack?!
Demonic Wrath was freed, but severely injured. Seeing this Crushing Planets sighed in relief. He had won.
The substance began to flow.
Erupting Volcano's parts fused back together, "Did you miss me?"
Crushing Planets was shocked beyond belief. Their [Mana Release: Overlapping Infinities] cut through several realities itself! How had Erupting Volcano lived?!
Erupting Volcano covered Demonic Wrath in the substance with a grin, "That move really spooked me, I hadn't been cut like that in so long."
Crushing Planets knees failed him and he collapsed onto them. The result of his shock and the after effects of [Mana Release: Overlapping Infinites].
Crushing Planets stammered, "Y-you. . . W-what are you?!"
Erupting Volcano grinned evilly, "That's something you don't need to know."
The last thing Crushing Planets saw was the yellow-orange substance covering him.
