The numerous sandworms in the surroundings all released a deafening cry filled with brutality.

Sol clicked his tongue and suddenly leaped to one side as one close by opened its gaping mouth and tried to swallow him.

At the same time, he used his Heavenly Eyes to see into the ground to realize the sandworms were following his movements. His gaze traveled back to the sandstorm that was approaching and his expression became serious.

'They're trying to stall us.'

Mar-Yue yelled, and Sol nodded.

Sol then dodged another sandworm's attempt to swallow him, before he weaved through the others while retreating.

Mar-Yue was slower, but she seemed terrifyingly calm despite the deadly situation.
