Kapitel 288: Chapter 288: LIFE ON THE LINE

He laid the little girl on her bed.

It was Rio who took Miracle to her room when she slept in his arms. After their conversation about Zoren's retreat , Miracle went to join them and played with the two gentlemen. After them, she went to Rio and sat on his lap. Then after a few more minutes she doze off.

As for Ethan, Hunter and Caleb, they stayed in the living room as they continue catching up. The last time they saw each other was during Aisha's death anniversary but they didn't talk much since everyone seems to be busy.

Rio fixed the kid's blanket then stood up. He gaze at the kid once again and was about to leave the room but the woman called his attention.

"R-Rio..." She faintly uttered.

The man halted and face the woman after.

"Yes?" He smiled.

"I...." She lowered her head. "I'm sorry..."

The man creased his brow. "Why are you saying sorry all of a sudden?"
