Kapitel 207: The end is near

Kai reaches for Aubrey's hand and holds it as he grows impatient. His half-brother, Connor doesn't miss the action, "What are you doing here, Leo?" He asks through gritted teeth.

The man with blonde hair sighs, "Don't call me that." He groans, "I prefer to the addressed by my official names, the grim reaper, the angel of death, and so many other names humans make up."

Aubrey's lips parts when she hears his statement. Her eyes widen and she looks to Connor in front of her before turning to Kai beside her. She clearly remembers a warning given by the goddess of truth but she never expected it to happen so soon.

—"Also, beware the Grim Reaper. You have already met him in a police uniform."—

Kai redirects his cold stare to Connor standing a little behind the seated mythical creature in human form. "If you brought him along then I guess we should be expecting the rest of the fallen gods to arrive soon."
