My body grew barely. The lack of nutrients in my body couldn't support my transformation, but my focus was not on obtaining the strength to begin with.

My focus was entirely on growing out a horn that stabbed into the mouth of the beetle that dared to hurt me. And when it died, all I saw was it turning into dust and disappearing from the world. 

"This… a being like me?" I looked at where the beetle was, a beetle that retained an aspect of mine that matched my faceless head. "A nightmare in the real world." I knew what this thing was. I knew what this attack on me meant.

And I knew that I had been found out by him. "Hoho… my idol attacked me just now." I felt happy for a bit, then somewhat worried. Such conflicting emotions made me almost feel human. Then I turned and looked at Lord Emotion and bowed my head. "I thank thee for my protection."
