Kapitel 50: Chapter 50 Willstenburg Academy
"Carnia what class are you taking ?."
Rina directly leaned forward infront of her, Carnia made a quick glance at her and grinned slightly raising her eyebrow at her, Rina Millers was a really good friend of Carnia since before.
They grew together and meet at different parties with their other friend Lakinda Sulliven, during the 10 years they spent bonding together they really formed a close relationship.
"Ruth, I guess?."
Rina burst into laughter, she stopped walking and stood in the same spot, smacking Carnia's right shoulder in the process. slouching while touching her belly after she had calmed down, she stood up straight to wipe the tears coming out of her eyes.
"So why did you choose Ruth out of all other options?"
Rina was more like teasing Carnia sarcastically than asking her for real, Carnia knew that she would react to her decision but she did not expect Rina to tease her quite annoyingly but it was more of a cutesy annoying than literally annoying.
"Will you join the healer category?."
Ruth has 3 categories, Assasin class, Healer class and Knight class. It was a class used to train students into joining the Light knights or Royal, even the Dark knights with the Vanity comprised of Wind magicians, Fire magicians, Water magicians and many more.
Light knights were the famous protectors of the kingdom besides the Royal knights, Light knights consisted of A or S rank students in their academy days while Royal knights would only accept B rank and above.
Dark knights were the shadows of the Kingdom pulling the string behind the Light knights, their Identities were never shown or known but rumor has it all Dark knights were highly trained people who were above S class.
"No, I will join the Knight class."
Rina frowned at her decision, It was her choice but knight class is dangerous she is worried that Carnia might get hurt real bad if she joined that class, it is rumored to be 2x worse than magic class and there was also the Piolo , students who are interested in going into politics.
"Rina don't be too worried I am fine, Aren't I an S rank?."
Carnia smugly raised her chin showing of her neck ribbon, S-rank students were given White ribbons to show their authority, they also have high priveleges such as they have their own room, private tutor classes and has high higher chances to be chosen as a Light knight or Dark knight depending on which class they are in.
"You show off!."
Rina just gave her a weird look wanting to punch the face of her bestfriend only to remember that she is higher than her of one rank, Rina was given a B-rank, they were a total of 6 ranks, S-rank as the highest to A-rank,B-rank until C,D and E-rank the lowest of all ranks.
"How about you?what class are you taking?."
Carnia continued walking inside the academy while taking off the uncomfortable ribbon on her neck and hid it inside her pockets They looked left and right while talking to each other, taking into account the magnificant view of the center of the Academy.
The first thing you will see inside the Willstenburg Academy is the wide garden, there were bench seats at every corner and a fountain in the middle of the garden beside a bride connecting two buildings quite similar to a overpass or skybridge.
"Assasin class!."
Rina proudly thumped her chest with her fists, she will be joining the same type of class but not the same category.
"It suits you."
She giggled and once more looked at the breathetaking view but all she saw were the lustful gazes the students were giving at her, Rina noticed it too and glared at all of the male students that were giving off a dirty look.
"Lets go find our building."
There were three buildings for each classes, The middle building was for the Piolo and the two buildings connected with each other is for the Vanity and Ruth .
They were finally going to leave the place when three male students blocked their path, the male students on the middle had a white ribbon on his wrist.
"Are you guys lost?, Do you want us to help you find your buildings?."
The student in the middle creep beside Carnia and gently held her waist to his, his two other male friends also went beside Rina.
"Ah, Its okay but it will help if you point out the building for us."
Carnia smacked the intruding hand of the male stranger, The male student backed off a little bit and raised both of his hand in a mocking manner.
"What class are you taking?."
"Knight class."
The three male students laughed in unison, going at each other and patting ther backs to calm theirselve's down.
"Why would you choose that class?, A beauty like you should just use your power for somethingelse."
The male student with the ribbon looked her up and down staring at the the top of her private area, he continued.
"Can you see this?."
He showed off his wrist and one could see that the ribbon was not the same as hers, The ribbon given by the headmaster himself had a lighter shade and a tiny red rose at the outiside.
"You mean the fake ribbon?."
Carnia leaned forward and whispered into his ears. The students who were just passing by looked at them with an embarrased expression.
It is considered as a sin for students to copy the sacred ribbon created by the headmaster. The fake S-rank students face quickly became purplelish if you were ever found copying the ribbon, you will be heavily punished.
"You!."
The male student raised his hand ready to slap Carnia, When she used her magic to zap a light dagger in his hand it was too tiny to be seen by the naked eye but the impact was high.
"Argh!."
The male student grabbed his aching hand, cursed at her loudly without noticing that other students were watching at the sidelines, When he noticed their dark gazed he quickly fled off the scene.
Carnia sighed, The male student must be a commoner pretending to be a high ranker for the perks of being one, In the academy status does not matter, ranks are the most important aspect in the academy.
"What did you tell him?, What happened?."
Rina looked at her in a puzzled expression, when she saw the guy trying to hurt Carnia she was also ready to punch him back when all of a sudden he slumped back and held his hand.
"I don't know."
Carnia pretended to be innocent but Rina was not having it, She didn't ask any further questions and just sighed for her mysterious bestfriend that she knows for so many years yet stayed as a stranger.
"I guess we have to find it ourselves."
They sighed and continued to search the whole area themselves.
