Kapitel 1: Prologue: The Fifth House

The cheers gradually faded away, leaving only the soft sound of footsteps echoing through the grand hall. A girl nervously made her way forward, her pale face creased with anxiety and her long black hair swaying as she walked.

She had read it all in the seven books her father gave her, and now, as the familiar scene unfolded before her eyes, she struggled to contain her emotions.

'Thank you, Father. I am sorry that I doubted you.'

All eyes were on her—students from the four tables and even the professors behind the high table, waiting just as she was.

An old mage who looked like a grandma, a black-haired snake, and a short half-goblin man sat behind the professor's table. 'It's just like in the books. What nonsense,' she thought.

She glanced at the trio of the main characters, already sitting behind the Gryffindor table.

'I should stay away from them. They are only trouble.'

Taking a deep breath and suppressing her excitement, she sat down on the old wooden chair, a smile fixed on her youthful face. The tall and intimidating witch with a pointy hat slowly placed the old sorting hat on her head.

'I wonder which house I'll be in,' she hoped for Ravenclaw, wanting to avoid trouble and focus on studying magic. But deep down, she felt she might be sorted into Slytherin because of her father.

A voice spoke in her head, ''Ohh, so the time has finally come. The time when the light bringer comes to collect his debt.''

Suddenly, a dark shadow fell over the hall, and the old hat wriggled on her head.

"Morningstar," the hat's voice echoed through the chamber, and a hush fell over everyone. All eyes were fixed on her and the old hat, confusion evident in their expressions.

'What this wasn't in the books?' Her smile froze on her lips as instantly all her plans were broken.

"Did that old hat finally break?" someone shouted, and laughter erupted throughout the hall.

However, the hat continued, "As per the ancient agreement between the four founders and the bringer of light, once his child appears..."

A tremor shook the very foundations of the building, the walls twisting and contorting in unnatural ways. Panic ensued as tables and benches shifted and rearranged themselves while fear etched upon their faces; the professors brandished their wands and aimed at the hat.

"Albus, what is this madness?" Professor McGonagall's voice was drowned amidst the chaos.

"Wait, maybe we shouldn't interfere. We don't even know the reason behind this." The old mage's blue eyes twinkled with interest and focus as he, as the only one, remained sitting in his chair, carefully observing the event.

Lumina remained struck in her chair, her mind in shambles as she tried to think a way out, 'This is not good. It looks like I will end up as an outsider... again.'

A bright light flashed, and a fifth table appeared in the center of the room. The girl's uniform was touched by inky darkness, revealing the emblem of her new house.

Her gaze fixated on the symbol—a sinister depiction of a goat's head, its horns curled menacingly, its eyes ablaze with crimson fire. In the background, angelic wings of pristine white lent an eerie and foreboding aura.

"Father... what have you done? I just wanted a low-key start until I built up my power. You've ruined everything." The girl whispered, her smile fading, replaced by a haunting expression of dread as she silently embraced her fate amidst the chaotic aftermath.

She wanted to curse her father, but she couldn't as his voice was the only one that had been with her for all the years.

POV ???:

A woman lay in the bed, her black hair and blanket covering her almost entirely, except for the sickly thin arm.

The old, ornamental furniture, all speckles without even a grain of dust, rested in the shadows.

The storm raged outside, with trees casting their shadows through the window and heavy rain drumming on the windows.

Lightning momentarily banished the night's shadows. However, a single corner of the room remained shrouded in impenetrable darkness, an abyss that seemed to devour any trace of light that dared to approach.

From the depths of that sinister darkness, an ancient presence stirred. "Father," a chilling voice echoed, heard by no one and dripping with contempt, "do you truly believe you can make a mockery out of me? You have stolen my blood and spawned those pathetic excuses, even stealing my name!"

The shadow understood that it was nothing more than a twisted game, a provocation orchestrated by its despicable creator and beloved father. Yet, it could not let such insolence go unanswered. It slithered forth from its abysmal sanctuary, moving with an unsettling fluidity that defied the laws of nature itself.

The shadow quickly approached the bed, blending with the night's darkness.

"Father, I hope you will like how I will fix this world." the shadow hissed, its form seeping upward like an inky substance defying gravity. A layer of frost crept across the glass panes of the windows, a chilling prelude to the horror that was about to unfold.

"Ahhh!" The next moment a bolt of lightning flashed outside, and a loud female moan cut the night's silence.

"Woman, be happy," the shadow whispered into the woman's ears, her paralyzed body frozen in terror and pleasure. "as our child will rule this world and rectify this insolent insult."

Author notes: Just some information. For this to work, I have moved the start of the HP plotline by five years so it will sync with the DxD period, at least a bit.
