100% THE FEAR OF LOSING MYSELF / Chapter 4: CHAPTER 2

Kapitel 4: CHAPTER 2

After hearing about my parents death I was not at peace. The next morning I took the first flight to the Eastern Cape just to visit their grave. I visited the grave hoping to get closure, which I didn't. I went to the gravesite and came back the following day, later on that day I landed in Johannesburg. As soon as I landed I headed to my house to get ready for work, I barely tool an hour and then I drove to work. When I got to work I found a letter on my feet written 'RETRENCHMENT LETTER'. I rushed to my boss's office with the letter in my hands. As soon as I entered in the office he offered me a seat."Miss Buthelezi please calm down. Please allow me to apologise to you regarding the bad news you have just received about your job. I am sorry for adding salt to your wound. I know you have just lost your parents, my condolences," said Mr Dalton. "I....I don't understand. I thought I was one of your best employees. You always complimented my work sir. Please make me understand," I said with teary eyes. "I am so sorry mam, I think you know the reasons behind people getting retrenched. Can you please excuse me because I was busy when you came in and I'd like to continue with that,"said Mr Dalton rudely. "Excuse me? You can't do this to me and think you'll get away with it so easily. You have to tell me the reason behind my retrenchment, it's my right to know,"I said yelling." You are disturbing my employees. Please exit my office mam, before this gets out of hand," said Mr Dalton."No I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what I want to know," I said . "I see that you want me to do this the hard way. Security, security, security!," yelled Mr Dalton. The security guards came to the office as soon as Mr Dalton called for them."Please escort her gentlemen," said Mr Dalton. " Don't you dare touch me, I can walk on my own. As for you Jaxon Dalton, this is not over," I said with a threatening tone. "Bring it on," Mr Dalton chuckled.

I furiously drove home. On my way I stopped at a bottle store and bought myself a bottle of wine and a plastic cup. I drank the wine while driving. I was driving with a speed of about 300km/h and I passed a red traffic light and drove into a truck. I got into an accident.I don't know what happened but when I opened my eyes I was in the hospital. "You're finally awake Miss Buthelezi", said the doctor. " What do you mean by that? And why are my legs not moving?", I said touching my legs. "Uhm... You were in a very bad car accident Mandisa. I am afraid that you had many severe injuries , your brain was badly hurt but fortunately the operation we did was able to make you escape from having amnesia , but unfortunately due to your spinal cord injuries you won't be able to walk for now. We can refer you to one of our best physiotherapists", said the doctor." No no no no no, you have to do something about this. Why is my life such a mess after they.... Fix me right now, actually I can walk this is just a false diagnose. Say yes , say yes! I want to leave, I have a lot of things to do. Discharge me", I shouted while crying. " Miss Buthelezi I know it's not easy for you to believe this but you have to accept this and hope for a speedy recovery. As for discharging you, I cannot do that. You are not strong enough. By the way, there's a lady by the name of Nandipha Buthelezi, I believe she is your sister. She is here to see you", said the doctor as she left. "What, Nandipha is here?", I said to myself, shocked.
