Kapitel 64: I'd Follow You To The End Of The World

"Chain breaker." Hans stride to the deck once the girl flies away from the deck. He using his own emblem to break the chain that used to restrain Albert's power.

Clunk!

The red and black light color formed on the chain before breaking the golden chain made by the girl.

"She's no human, My King," Albert said once he was released.

Hans glance at him a bit before he averts back his eyes to the blue ocean. "I know. She's….perhaps.." He turns his body around and stops beside Albert.

"The mermaid princess." He said above a whisper to Albert before he went back to the deck.

He looks at Kiki which is still grieving on Akashi's death. Her eyes look so dull and she doesn't care about her surrounding at all.

Hans squatted down in front of her and lift up her chin to look at him.

"I know it's hurt to lose the one who we loved the most. So, my dear General, I shall erase your memory. All the past memory between you and him. And I shall replace it with a new one. My General cannot be weak over trivial love matter. Especially for someone like you."

Kiki tears flow even more. She closes her eyes tightly. 'I'm sorry Akashi..I'm sorry..'

He snaps his finger beside her ear and she went into a deep sleep. Along with other soldiers who look terrified since they witness the crazy battle between Lord Albert and the pirate lady.

Albert lowered his head. He had nothing else to say if Hans already makes his move.

"Clean up the mess. We should return this evening." Hans said over his shoulder before he went to the carriages and resting inside it.

Albert nod and use his hidden abilities to repair everything and make everything back to normal before Hans waking up all the townspeople and change their memory again.

"There they are," Jett said and take a smooth landing on the deck.

Thud!

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Standing in front of them right now is a middle-aged man with a weird but neat suit. However, he really looks like someone from the nobility.

"Alba!" Jett smiling seeing the man in front of him. He striding to him with an open arm.

"Jett..you looks handsome as ever." the man named Alba hugged him and change with Cerulean and Roux.

"You both too..still look like a brat."

"Oh, you old man! Shut up!" Cerulean said while smiling to him.

"Where have you been? Why are you here by the way? And did you see our guardian?" Jett shoots him with the question and stretches his neck a bit try to peek behind him.

This ship looks rather weird in design. They even have grass on the deck floor and orange tree on the roof. Its feel like they were in the land while actually, they were on the ship. The flag...

Jett's eyes widen a bit. It's clearly a pirate flag. "Uh…Hey…"

"Let me talk first." Alba look at each of them before he stops at Yuina.

"You must be the reincarnation of Red D, right?" He smiles a bit.

"Uh…" Yuina was spacing out since she arrives here. She then nods her head slowly. "Hi, my name is-"

"You're princess Yuina Zephyrine. The only princess in our kingdom." Alba interject and stretch out his hand to her.

"I know who you are." He continues again and slowly Yuina shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Mister..uh.."

"Alba. You can call me Alba." He still smiles at her.

"So, Miss Yuina. May I know, what is your point to gather all of us? What's your goal actually?" He looks at her eyes with a serious tone.

"Ah yes, about that.." Yuina feels a bit embarrass. This mister here is so straight to the point.

"Because, I won't agree to help you if you have no aim, no goals or you just want to use our strength for your own purpose." He continues again.

Jett scrunches his eyebrow and tap on Alba's shoulder.

"Hey, aren't we already took an oath to stay loyal to our King?" Jett tries to remind Alba about their oath. This Alba here…he looks rather different than the last time they met.

Alba turns to look at Jett. "Yes, I still remember. Thanks for reminding me. However, she just a reincarnation. Not the real Red D. What if..she doesn't qualified to be the King? What if she was too weak to lead us? If she doesn't have real aim and goals. I refuse to serve her. I don't want to waste my time on someone who can't decide what she wants."

Yuina feels like something sharp just struck right at her heart right now. She lowered her head on the floor. Everything that this man said is true. Why would he want to waste his time to help her anyway?

She is no princess anymore, everyone thought that she is already dead a months ago. Hans seems to do his duty as king with proper too. Everyone likes him. What else she wants?

Throne? For what if she can't rule a kingdom? Hayden? He's not from a royal family. If he is the king, for sure the whole nation will disagree and favored more to Hans..so…for what purpose she wants to gather them back?

Because of the prophecy? So far, there still no news about declaring war to their kingdom from another kingdom. But….deep inside her heart, she wants to do one thing for the kingdom. Even though she did not aim to get the crown or rule the kingdom.

She gulps a bit. "I…I want to help my people who're in need. I want to protect my own kingdom even though..even though I'm not someone powerful. I want to help and do a nice thing even though I would not be remembered by them." She still staring on the deck floor.

Alba and the others who are in the deck silent to hear she suddenly answer Alba's question. She just looks like a daughter who was scolded by her father.

Grey just watching from the side. Not intending to interfere with their discussion at all.

Alba chuckles. He then tilts his head a bit. "What can you gain by doing that? You don't get any money and that wasn't helping to fill our stomach too. Until when do you planning on doing something like that?"

Yuina slowly looked at him in the eyes. "I..don't do it because of money. I do it because of love. If helping them can bring them happiness, why not? I know this sound so ridiculous and lame. But, that's what I want right now. If you decide to not come with us, I understand it. There's no obligation for you dragons to follow me either." Yuina then looks at the other dragons before she continues again.

"I'm not Red D. I'm just Yuina. I'm a mere human who born from Red Demon King descendant. And if you all expect me to be just like my ancestor, then…I'm sorry. I can't be like him. I am me and I want to be myself. Please don't compare and expect me to be like him. And I am sorry for wasting your time."

Yuina lowered her head after she said that. She ready to hear if the dragons decide to leave her alone and go with their own way. She knew she's useless. She can't lead them. She's weak and had no power at all. What kind of King is that?

She clenches her fist tightly with a slight tremble. At the very last hope, she really hoping that Hayden will still stick with her till the very end.

They silent for a moment before Jett went to her and pats on her hair gently.

"I'll stick with you, My King." He said with a gentle tone. And that makes Yuina immediately looked up at him. "Because..well, my guardian loves you so much. And I also love you too. But, not in a romantic way. I mean, we already stick together since you were young. Of course, I'd follow you to the end of the world."

Yuina almost tearing up to hear that. She cupped her mouth with her hands.

"Don't worry My Lord. I'll stick with you together. My guardian loves adventure and he already bored being a nobility. So, you will have us behind you. Also, I love with the concept of helping people." Cerulean also went to her and pat on her shoulder.

"I will stick with you too, My King. We've been together since we in Onyx kingdom. Even though you don't have any power or abilities, you have a big kind heart. It's more matter than anything. Spreading love through our action." Roux also decides to stay with her. He is sure that his guardian will also think the same.

"Well...I thank you, guys." Yuina opens her arm wide. They hugged for a moment before Alba interrupt.

"Hah.. since you say you're not a Red D and just a mere human who want to help people, I guess that's okay for me to stick with you for a bit. My daughter doesn't like to stick around with a certain group for too long. Once we're bored we'll go our own way."

Yuina smiling at him.

"It's okay. I thank you for your help in the future."
