Kapitel 603: Shi Xi's Past

After getting the facts straight, Shi Xi could more or less understand what her parents were thinking.

She had been very busy recently, or rather, she had been very busy all this time. Mother and Father Ning didn't want her to worry, so they didn't tell her.

She thought about how she had bumped into Father Ning at the hospital, and how Father Ning had told her not to tell Ning Yu.

Shi Xi immediately called Ning Yu and asked, "Mother Ning has liver cirrhosis. Did you know about this?"

The voice on the other end was cold. "I know. I'm looking for a suitable liver source."

Shi Xi was exasperated. "If you knew, why didn't you tell me?"

"What's the use of telling you?" Ning Yu asked.

"At least she's my mother. I can donate my liver to her." Shi Xi took a deep breath.

Ning Yu was silent for a moment. "If you want to do a match, you can come to the hospital."

"Alright," she said. Shi Xi agreed without any hesitation.
