"They are always awake when they should be asleep. And then when everyone is asleep, they keep us up with their cries," one of the nannies commented when she noticed Cyprian's presence.

"Really? But they look so cute right now," Cyprian replied, her eyes glued on one of the crying baby boy. She moved closer to the cots but dared not touch any of them. She was not worth it.

"That cute smile and cries are just a facade. When they decide to show their real faces, even we nannies with decades of experience are always overwhelmed..."

Away from there, Raymond's eyes followed Cyprian's every action, his face contorting into a deep frown.

"Don't you like babies too? You should be there with her," Ethan said, noticing the look on Raymond's face.

"She does not like babies so I will keep away from them," Raymond replied absentmindedly.

"That look in her eyes isn't that of someone who does not like babies."
