He spoke with a smile that would naturally instill fear into the hearts of his enemies!

"Before anything else, I would like to know how you found this place...and bypassed the security?" (Jiedo)
The Old man had a curious expression on his face as he observed the young man sitting across him.
On his left, Zhou was on high alert as he kept alternating his gaze between Erik and the woman standing beside him.
He was ready to fight Erik at any moment's notice!
The latter didn't consider Zhou being alert as a threat and simply opened his mouth to speak.
"I am sure you know about, Douglas Huang...?" (Erik)
He questioned the old man; knowing full well that he would be able to answer his question.
"Hm...he once saved my son's life." (Jiedo)
"If my memory serves me right then he was rewarded for his service; with a powerful position within the organization." (Jiedo)
Jiedo acknowledged the name and spoke the general information he had on his late subordinate.
"That was, of course, before he was killed by someone...and considering that he had tried to sabotage your CAD." (Jiedo)
"I am guessing it is you who is responsible for his sudden death?" (Jiedo)
While the question seemed a bit aggressive, the old man was just curious about the mysterious death of his pawn.
The experience, knowledge, and skill of the Old man were apparent to Erik; who acknowledged the former as a formidable foe.
Jiedo wasn't afraid of death or anything!
He knew for a fact that since he and his disciple were still alive? Then, Erik had no intention of fighting against them.
Proof?
Well, the said individual was able to avoid the security of one of the most well-guarded hotels in the world.
He was able to sneak up on them and they couldn't even sense his presence within the room.
They knew that he was fast and destructive with his magic.
Not to mention, the strange woman standing beside him gave off an unsettling aura that deterred others.
"Well, I didn't really kill him but you can say so...yeah." (Erik)
True dat! Erik wasn't the one to do the killing but there was no need to discuss past events anymore.
After all, what had happened has already taken place; there was no use in crying over spilled milk.
"Anyway, so before he died...he spilled out all the information he had on you and your grandson." (Erik)
"He informed me of this place, and I must say...that man wasn't a very loyal person." (Erik)
Erik conveniently didn't answer Jiedo initial question, that how did he get inside; but rather skillfully lead the conversation away from it.
The Old man and Zhou of course noticed this but chose not to comment on it since Erik wasn't obliged to answer their questions.
"So I think...we should thank you for getting rid of that traitor." (Jiedo)
The Old man wanted to kill the traitor himself but unfortunately, the said man was already murdered by "Erik Saltzman"...or so they say!
Seeing that his teacher and Erik were still exchanging pleasantries, Zhou decided to interrupt them and ask Erik to cut the crap.
"What do you want, Mr. Saltzman?" (Zhou)
He narrowed his eyes at Erik as he tried to figure out his motives.
"Haha...you are also old Mr. Zhou, have some patience." (Erik)
"I would like to propose a trade between us." (Erik)
"...I am listening." (Jiedo)
"I am willing to provide you with the [Nuclear Codes] that your member [Overhaul] couldn't..." (Erik)
"...in exchange, I want to use [Hliðskjálf]...the power of [Black Sage] to search for a little something." (Erik)
"And may I ask, how do you get the [Nuclear Codes]?" (Jiedo)
"Well, I had [Overhaul] killed before hiring in an ancient magician to extract all the information from his soul." (Erik)
"Back then, I don't think that the [No Head Dragon] and the [Saltzman Empire] had any differences, so why did you kill [Overhaul]?" (Jiedo)
"He was going to die anyway, the Japanese government had deployed a [Strategic-Class Magician] to kill him." (Erik)
"I just killed him first to get something that I could use as a bargaining chip...." (Erik)
"So what do you say?" (Erik)
"Hm...the trade can be done, what you want is actually very negligible when compared to what you are offering but I have a few requests." (Jiedo)
"Sure, please go on..." (Erik)
"First of all, the [Saltzman Empire] wouldn't interfere or act hostile against [No Head Dragon] unless the latter does something that directly affects the former." (Jiedo)
"You will unblock the various channels through which our organization gets its resources from." (Jiedo)
"Lastly, you need to prove that you are not working for the Japanese government." (Jiedo)
"Hm...sure, I want to show something to both of you..." (Erik)
"I am sure that this will be sufficient proof that I am acting out of my own interest, not because of a governing body." (Erik)
Saying so, Erik turned towards the woman beside him and motioned for her to remove her mask.
The woman followed his orders and removed her mask, allowing others to see her face.
"Yotsuba Miya!? You!" (Zhou)
An intense psion burst forth Zhou's body as the whole hotel started to shake!
The man in question was very powerful, he could fight Minoru, Tatsuya, and Masaki all at once and hold his own for some time.
After seeing the woman of the family he hated to the core; he couldn't control his anger anymore.
"I will kill you, Yotsuba Miya!" (Zhou)
Zhou let out a beastly roar but before he could make a move.
Another powerful psion burst inside the room, drowning that of his within seconds.
"Zhou...let the man continue; control yourself!" (Jiedo)
The Old man had a cold expression on his face as he observed the woman standing beside Erik.
The rage and anger he was feeling at the moment surpassed that of his student, yet he maintained his self-control and asked for Erik to finish his words.
"I once heard a rumor that the Yotsuba clan had a member who could control the minds of other magicians." (Erik)
"I was, of course, intrigued...so I decided to search for this magician." (Erik)
"I found out that the elder sister of the current Yotsuba Clan head could use the famed [Outer-Systematic Magic]." (Erik)
"So I had her kidnapped and brainwashed her." (Erik)
"As you can see, I have made Yotsuba Miya into my puppet using a technique similar to yours." (Erik)
"She is alive and has her conscious but she can't do anything out of my control." (Erik)
"The government would never allow this to happen if they knew about it...I guess this should prove that I am not working for anyone." (Erik)
"But how!?" (Zhou)
"Yotsuba clan...would never allow such a thing to happen!?" (Zhou)
"The last time someone tried to harm a Yotsuba, a country perished!" (Zhou)
Zhou clenched his fist and gritted his teeth as he remembered what happened to his country, Dahan.
"I know...that's why I had her guards killed and changed her appearance." (Erik)
"My power and ways are much more mysterious when compared to a single clan." (Erik)
"Not to mention, I too...have a certain distaste for the Yotsuba Clan." (Erik)
"Nothing like yours's though." (Erik)
"Anyway, so do we have a deal?" (Erik)
"If you are willing to give her to us, this sure...we can agree!" (Zhou)
Zhou's mind was clouded by hate and anger, he wanted Erik to hand over the Yotsuba so that he could torture her to his heart's content.
"Unfortunately, I can't agree to that Mr. Zhou." (Erik)
"Yotsuba Miya is my puppet, she belongs to me..." (Erik)
"But I am willing to tell you crucial information regarding the [Strategic-Level Magician] of Japan." (Erik)
"If you are willing to let me make Yotsuba Maya into my puppet." (Erik)
"So what will it be?" (Erik)
"Alright, we agree..." (Jiedo)
"But teacher!" (Zhou)
"It's alright...if we can get any information on the one foiling our plans then this small sacrifice is nothing!" (Jiedo)
"Wise choice, Mr. Jiedo." (Erik)
"Apparently, this [Strategic-Level Magician] is also a Yotsuba." (Erik)
"Nani the fuck!?"
