POV: Astaros
____________
I lay in the dirt for a while, the stale smoky air invading my lungs and assaulting the lacerations within my throat. I had literally put everything on the line in the last couple attacks against the drake. The collateral had also been high. The entire area had been incinerated. The area he lay in wait for death was annihilated. The ground was streaked grey and white with ash and charred matter. Suddenly he heard someone coming. Voices yelled in the distance, sounding like whispers in the winds to Astaros's ringing ears. Suddenly a voice invaded his mind and he snapped to attention, clearing his own tiredness and waking.
' 'ASTAROS!!!' ' {Fillia, Dryis}
Their voices had rejuvenated his mind to the point of recognition of his surroundings, if only that.
'Fillia, Dryis, it's nice to see you guys finally show up.' {Astaros}
I heard crying as hands rested on my armor. Voices said something about recovery and feats.
'Fillia can you hear me? Because if you can listen well.' {Astaros}
Now that I was fully conscious my memory was fully functioning. I remembered some of what the damage core had said. She quickly responded to my request and I felt her mana come close as she pushed in between the foreign mana signatures surrounding me.
'What do you need Astaros, we won't let you die.'
I tried to laugh but began coughing and gasping as my torn throat refusing to provide me a chance to speak. Telepathy it is then.
'Take me to a place where I can recover without interruption. I will gain everything back that I have lost today but I need you to keep foreign mana out of my body for now you hear?' {Astaros}
I felt her nod and I relaxed. My mind slipped away into the unconsciousness I so deserved.
'My divinity huh. Alright then, I wonder who's hand I'm putting my health in.' {Astaros}

POV: Kali Vadris
_______________
I am positively beaming at the moment. I mean who in the human race wasn't? A human had bested a drake in combat. A feat seen only twice in history. Both times however involved a united human army marching against the creatures. Astaros however had soloed the beast. If I gave up on him now I could never be known as a guild master again. It had been three days since the incident and a woman named Dryis had been in charge of his recovery while Fillia and another woman named Katia protected his chambers.
It seemed women were now surrounding him. Perhaps I could use that to my advantage when he reawakens. However, what I am most excited about is his recovery. Not only will his arm grow back but he will return to 100% of what he was a few days ago. Perhaps better!
I must have him as my pawn no, as my rook. I cannot pass him up. Not to the kingdom, not to anybody.
HE. IS. MINE.
And that is why I have shown up at the recovery center within the town church today.
The moment I arrived the air grew deep and heavy with mana in the church as both Fillia and Katia threw pressure at me. I however was not here to fight but inform.
"Hello Fillia, Katia, how is our faaavorite armored swordsman doing today!" {Kali
Katia's expression was neutral while Fillia only became more heated. But before she could say anything she snapped to attention, looking to the door for a few seconds. She then calmed and nodded towards the door, turning back to face me. She exhaled and spoke, malice still dripping and fresh in voice.
"He's doing fine. So what do you want?" {Fillia}
I flashed a smile and fillia sneered.
"I'm here to inform you. Astaros has been classified as an SS class warrior. He will now need a town liaison to work and live in the town." {Kali}
Liaisons were to keep track of and keep control of high level combatants. Almost like government issue secretaries. And I had one just for him. A female A class adventurer appeared at my side. She would be Astaros's liaison and the key to his enslavement. Suddenly Fillia smiled widely and Katia audibly coughed out a laugh before smirking.
Suddenly the door to recovery room opened and out stepped a young woman. My smile grew massive as rage and excitement began to clash in my head. As expected of Astaros. Always one step ahead aren't you.
Christine bowed and looked at before looking up with an infuriating smile.
"Astaros was aware of this law and took me in as his liaison." {Christine}
She then stood straight looking me in the eyes.
"A pleasure to keep working with you guild master." {Christine}
My smile grew into a raw greedy grin as I heard each word. It wouldn't be a worthy hunt if he came in easily.

_______________
POV: 3rd Person
_______________
As Astaros woke from his rest a week after the incident, so did the many kingdoms who had been paying attention to the rumors of his victory. From Thacion to Daithrus everyone had heard about the defeat of a drake upon human soil by a single man.
Why was this a big deal? In total there were 5 true dragons which lived in the north and 28 drakes in total. Five of which had been subjugated by other races and 2 of which were killed by humanity. Astaros is the second to subjugate a drake in history on his own. The first was the Mistress of Daithrus itself, The master of the Daitharian theocracy, Demon lord of pride Rivella. Even she had help in the beginning though and to top it off the battle lasted two days. And so the idea of such a powerful human existing was being investigated by everyone, and the circumstances regarding the drakes appearance was also being considered. The ones with the most interest in this situation besides the demon lord of pride who was positively fuming at the idea she had been beaten was Zlatania, the kingdom of vampires. The queen of the country Victoria Crimson now spoke with her subordinates. It was obvious to her where the drake had come from and what she was going to do now.
"We are going to declare war on Thacion." {Victoria}
The massive crowd within the auditorium she had been speaking to now screamed and howled with excitement. She was a beautiful voluptuous woman with a bewitching gaze that silenced the crowd. Her gaze swirled with crimson light as she spoke.
"We have long wished to invade Thacion but the watchdog of the border prince Kamatra would always push us back!" {Victoria Crimson}
The crowd of the tall open air auditorium booed and shouted as many bat like wings began unfurling as they all flew and swapped positions under the moonlight. Her snarling contorted face now calmed and a smile spread across it, dazzling and calming the angered vampires.
"But now Lord thorn of Thacion has executed his son for treason against the Crown!!" {Victoria Crimson}
She spread her arms and from her back flared black and scarlet veined wings as she was showered with cheers and praises.
"I Victoria Vanblood Crimson will personally lead the assault on the Thaconian border. We will increase our numbers and capture more territories for the curse of the eternal night!!" {Victoria Crimson}
The cheering now blasted across the auditorium as the vampires lost all control and began celebrating, blood and gore raining around the auditorium as live prey was consumed and glasses of exotic blood were drunk.
The regal monarch who had completed her speech whirled on her heel and stalked off. Her juicy bottom bouncing and drawing more than a couple eyes before it vanished from the stage.
…
*BLAAMMMM*
*CRASH*
A table in the queen's personal chambers smashed out of her window, her monstrous strength being placed on display as she rampaged.
"THOSE IDIOTIC SNOBBY FOOLS FORCING ME TO GO TO WAR! IF WE DID THAT THE DEMONS WOULD WIPE US OUT!!!" {Victoria Crimson}
A maid stood in the corner unflinching in the face of this royal tantrum.
"Madam, calm yourself, you must think clearly for the sake of the newborn." {Maid ???}
The rampaging woman calmed down, her breathing slowing as she regained her regal aura. She straightened out her clothes before turning to the maid.
"You shall not speak of this display to anyone and I would like to have Carmilla summoned to the throne room as quickly as possible while repairs are done here. Understood?" {Victoria Crimson}
Not a single apology was to be found within the orders. That however is as it should be. Royalty must always be absolute. Never wavering. It's their duty to their people and something that should never be faked. This was Victoria Crimson. The master of the Crimson house and queen of the vampire race, killer of the original progenitor. These were her unwavering beliefs.
The maid nodded. Turning transparent as she disappeared into mist and slunk under the door.
…
If she was on the frontline her daughter would be vulnerable. She would have to be taken care of. And recent events had shown her an opportunity to gain a power unlike any other.
She now sat on her spiky semi transparent stone of crystallized progenitor blood as her daughter and the maid flew in through one of the skylights, their bat forms warping as they transformed and landed.
"Carmilla, I have a mission for you." {Victoria Crimson}
The young hooded vampire looked up at her mother, piercing ruby red eyes peering out from the darkness of the cloak.
"I am willing to comply." {Carmilla}
Victoria smiled at the newborn's seemingly unshakeable faith in her words. From since Carmilla was a child Victoria had trained her child to be obedient to her alone while bending to no one else. This is why she could trust her with this mission. Though mostly it was for her daughter's safety.
"You are to live under the wing of Astaros Systin, a champion of humankind and if possible, transform him." {Victoria Crimson}
The young vampire responded with vigor and strength in her voice.
"Your will is my command, mother." {Carmilla Crimson}

Within the Republic of Vritu:
A young girl sat upon a tree trunk using a knife to shave wood off of a little carved statue. A bronze cross with a bright ruby within it signified her devotion to the goddess of war Theadris. Her golden locks waved across her beautiful skinny shoulders. Her white and gold dress flowed in the high drafts. She had heard the news of Kamatras execution and the involvement of a peculiar human with the Champion, Astaros.
Instantly she knew who it was. Her long elven ears shivered as her cheeks turned rosy red.
"I finally found you, sister Dryis."
She then held up the perfect wooden recreation of her sister to the sunlight, satisfied with her work.

Within the kingdom of Alvaria, 8th Dukedom:
"Duke Artize, I beg you to reconsider. If we upset a new champion when the king told us to establish friendly rela-" {Advisor}
"ENOUGH YOU SQUAWKING FOOL!!" {Duke Artize}
He slammed his fist onto his small throne as the advisor jumped. He was supposed to be the master of the dukedom! How did such a powerful being sprout without his notice? His brown eyes surveyed the kneeling advisor who shivered in fear. He gritted his teeth and furrowed his brows. His large hand stroked his thick beard as he sat deep in thought. He had received a letter from Kali saying she would handle his induction into the kingdom.
While he didn't doubt the abilities of the guildmaster he chose, he did doubt that she would do it without playing with him first. Normally this would not be a concern as they could level the law against him but now if he resisted he could become a horrifying enemy.
He couldn't leave this to Kali alone. He needed someone who could draw Astaros towards the side of the kingdom or an organization close to it.
Suddenly his eyes widened and he smiled. He then pointed at one of his advisors.
"You there, bring me Priestess aurora. We will use her to seduce this "Astaros"." {Duke Artize}
