Martial Cultivation involves the circulation of ki energy into the pores of the skin which strengthens the body organs,muscles and flesh and gives more power to the Cultivator's strike. Martial Cultivation also increases the cultivator's grace and finesse allowing the Cultivator to be able to weird and use weapons easily. In short, Martial Cultivation is a form of Cultivation used for Combat.

Elemental Cultivation: Mana, just like Ki is everywhere. Mana is what helps in forming of water bodies,fire,flames,vegetation, wind etc.
Elemental Cultivators learn to comprehend and gain affinity towards the various elements and use it as a form of attack and defence.
Elemental Cultivators have weaker bodies compared to the Martial Cultivators but possess strong mind and greater brain power.

Essence Cultivation: Everything in the universe has its essence. Be it life,death,time,water,air,fire,decay and corruption etc.
Essence Cultivation deals with the existence of uncountable essences in the world. Essence Cultivators will percieve and learn to comprehend the essence of their choices.
Essence Cultivators have relatively weak bodies compared to the Martial Cultivators and Elemental Cultivators. Their worth and Battle prowess is nothing to be scoffed at. They possess strong mind and spirit.

If forced to develop at the same pace, the Cultivator might suffer from paralysis or brain damage. Only about 10% of the population possess this trait.
