Alina looked at Elyon, who was still trying his best to maintain the defensive array. He waited for Elyon's signal, but it never came. "El, if this keeps up, she'll kill us both before I call my friend. Should I do it now?" Alina asked in her mind, knowing Elyon would be able to hear her question.

"Not yet, it's not the time yet. I have to make her know my identity and intend to kill me."

"You... you want to distract her by killing yourself?!" If they weren't in such a critical situation, Alina would have grabbed Elyon's robe and scolded the boy all day. "No, I can't let you do that! What if she really kills you?!" It takes a great willpower to prevent her from speaking out loud what was on her mind. If the evil mermaid heard her voice, their enemies would find out about their plans.

Elyon didn't answer and only focused on maintaining the defensive array. He even acted as if he didn't hear Alina's hysterical voice in his mind.
