Kapitel 1: The Dragon System
"Oh, come on" Karl said "start already!" Karl kicked the a big metallic egg-shape machine which had rust, different parts replaced and power-up problems.
"Ouch" Karl said in pain as he held his foot and sat on the bed, he had a weak body, weak bones and not enough power to keep up with a changed world.
Karl signed and sat on the bed, his hands landed on the locket around his neck, the locket held a symbol of a scaled creature with wings and a scaly tail.
[Lording game….Loading completed]
"Finally, I can play now" Karl sat up and walked to his gaming capsule he had kicked. "kicking it did work but it left a bruise on my foot" if a normal person had done the same they might have not injured themselves as much as Karl did as he had been poisoned, poisoned by the power that made others powerful made him weak, mana poising that took life of his parents when he was only 7 years old, and now slowly taking his life, making him weak. Karl held the locket with a tight grip while thinking of his parents as it was given to him by his parents, after wearing the locket it didn't improve his health but it just extended it.
Karl took out the locket around his neck and threw it on the bed; he had never done that until now. 'I give up, I can't do this anymore' Karl thought. He touched the button of the gaming capsule to open it and lifted his weak legs to step inside the capsule, with every moment Karl could feel the moments of his death get nearer and nearer. "What...A Cool...way...to...Die" Karl said as he struggled to make sound. In the virtual game he could be anyone, a strong person, an athlete, he could experience what a normal person would, Karl wanted to just live a normal life, and chose to die that way.
"Game…on" Karl said as the gaming capsule started to close and then it closed leaving a buzzing sound in the empty room.

After some time the locket started to light up, a circular seal appeared around it and started to disperse, releasing the seal on the locket and a figure of a dragon was highlighted, the locket started to change and turned into a small metallic dragon hovering above the bed looking at the gaming capsule Karl was in, then it started to move toward the gaming capsule and collided. As the small figuring of the dragon was about to collided with the surface of the gaming capsule, it went past it like didn't even exit there.
*silence*
A crack appeared on the gaming capsule and a blinding light started to fill the room from that particular crack, more and more crack appeared on the capsule resulting in more light until it looked like a small circular source of light that melted the capsule.
All the light in the room then retreated back towards the glowing globe, a stilled blackness spread across the room and in the middle of it all a glowing silver-colored globe. Inside the glowing globe, an unconscious body floated around and then all the light went inside the body and the room went still and normal again.
*thud*
Karl's body fell to the floor and the glow started to disappear.
After several hours,
"Auh! What is this pain, it feels like every muscle of my body is screaming" Karl said. 'I am alive or not' Karl thought. After some time the pain started fade and looked around.
"Auh, why am I naked!" Karl stood up and went towards his cabinet, but as he was opening the cabinet, he glanced at his image in the mirror attached to it. "Huh, how do I look so fit?" Karl had always been skinny, in fact so skinny that some people called him skeleton with a thin layer of meat, but now he saw himself as a fit young man in the mirror. "What is this? Abs, how the hell did I get abs. "Karl exclaimed touching his abs and he soon noticed that his whole body had become muscular. Suddenly, Karl become very aware of that he was naked so he took some cloths out and wore them.
"What! My eyes changed too!" Karl was getting surprised left and right, didn't know why was that, getting closer to the mirror to carefully examine his eye "blue, light blue" staring at his now turned eyes Karl thought that the changes to his body has turned him into very different looking guy, even people close to him would had a hard time if he had any.
Karl started to think about the events that led him to these changes and started to look around his room. He noticed that his gaming capsule has vanished without a trace, then he remembered that a light come to him from the direction of his bed but when he looked he couldn't find the locket his parents had left with him. "Oh, no! Where is it?" Karl started to flip his bed to find the locket. All of a sudden his head started hurting and his eyes started to glow, he could somehow remember the event during the transformation.
"Does it mean that locket merged with me and that's the reasons for all this changes?"Karl said, his health had never been better, he couldn't feel the constant pain as he moved. 'Is it a dream?' Karl thought, he couldn't believe that he felt so normal, he didn't had so for many years but his excitement was soon interrupted.
Suddenly Karl's eyes started to glow a little, and he could see a transparent blue screen in front of him.
[A user has been detected]
Karl heard a robotic voice inside his head 'Am I in the game?' Karl thought as he saw the screen in front of him that he always saw inside his virtual game. Karl looked around and confirmed that he was in his room. 'Does it mean that the gaming capsule didn't simply melt but the game itself merged with me along with the locket?' Karl thought.

'It is status window just as in the games' Karl thought looking at the new screen. 'But it doesn't show mana as a stat, so maybe it is a something to with the locket not an ability' Karl thought.
Karl seemed a little disappointed as he didn't awaken any ability because if he had he would have mana in his body which will in turn help him to sense mana around him as mana existed everywhere in the world but only some people could sense it.
"At least I don't feel constantly tried anymore" Karl had a weak body from young age because of the disease and now having a fit body was god send to him.
Looking at the blue screen Karl noticed other tabs beside Status.

Karl touched the skill tab and a blank screen appeared under skill tab "ok. I have no skill, no ability, what do I have?"Karl then clicked quest tab and it was blank too.
Suddenly, Karl heard a robotic voice inside his head
[You have triggered a quest]
[Quest: The User must prove himself]
[The User is not worthy of the dragon system and he should prove his worthiness to utilize the system or otherwise system will self destruct, killing the user]
[Time limit: 2 days]
"What! 2 days and I will die if I don't prove myself worthy, what is this nonsense and what is a dragon, one of the fallen races?" Karl was panicking and thinking that he might die for a system that denied Karl as its user. Karl had just been cured of his disease, he didn't want to lose the hope he got from the locket that was now merged with him, and his parents had given him the locket so he could be cured, Karl believed.
"I think this is a bug or something, I can't die now after all this" Karl said "and if it is not then …"
Karl had no clue how to complete this quest but a word stuck to him.
DRAGON
"Maybe I should start with whatever 'dragon' means and go from there" Karl needed information and he didn't know where to start 'maybe I will get the information in the school library, at least it's a start' Karl thought, he then went to the last day of his school he was initially skipping.
