The problem wasn't that Mingshen kissed her but the fact that Jia actually responded to the kiss. By herself. On her own accord.

That plunged Jia straight into a never-ending cycle of shock, doubt, skepticism, astonishment, suspicion, mistrust, disregard and every other synonym of disbelief there existed in the world.
