A very talented one. So, if you're going to go crazy, stay in this character and go wild. You'll forget about this in a year. I promise."

Luca pursed her lips, holding Nova's sincere pair of slit eyes. What else could she say to her cat? It was not like they didn't consider the worst-case scenario. It was just that no matter how they — Luca prepared, she wouldn't be ready for this.

"A character… a role…" Luca whispered with quivering lips. 

"Yes." Nova nodded. "A role you will never remember after a year."

Luca's face contorted as she forced her voice out. "Promise?"

"Yes." Nova put her hand on Luca's thigh and kept her eyes on her. "I brought you here. I brought you back to life. I can do it again."
