Kapitel 137: Chase me to hell

"Chief, watch out!" 

Luca's eyes dilated, catching something catapulting from the corner of her eyes. She turned abruptly to prevent a more powerful impact; a reaction her body did before Luca could even think, knowing she had no time. 

BOOGSSH!

Luca's action saved her from a direct hit as the thing that crashed into their car hit the door of the backseat. Still, with its weight, it caused the car to spin violently and crash into the container on the side. Luca and Lizz could only prepare themselves mentally before their vehicle crashed. 

Fortunately, both of them were buckled up securely. If not, Lizz was certain she would have been thrown out of the windshield. 

"Ugh…" Lizz grunted in pain, wincing at the striking pain in her shoulder and arm. She hit the side of her hair against the window, smashing the window along with the impact. But overall, she didn't have any grave injuries. The car crashed on the other side, after all.
