Daisy thought back to the events of the morning, ''Ivy got a job offer so she had to leave immediately. And Angel started crying when she saw the suitcase. She won't stop crying no matter what. Then, she suddenly lost consciousness.'' 

Ryle's lips thinned, ''Were you not paying her enough?" 

''What do you mean? Ivy is not my maid,'' Daisy frowned. It was disrespect if she reduced Ivy's connection with Angel to something like money. Taking care of Angel was a job for Ivy when they were staying with Maxim but ever since Ivy moved in with her, she turned down any amount of money saying that Angel was not a job to her.
