Kapitel 40: A ball

"Boss, it's taking quite some time for him to open the door. Shall I call him to ensure that we are not at the wrong address?" Benjamin asked. 

Ryle looked at the closed door for a moment before he nodded once. 

'Click' 

The moment Benjamin took out his phone to make the call, the door opened from inside. Before Ryle could take a look inside however, Daisy stepped out in a flash and locked the door behind her. 

Ryle quirked a brow at her abrupt movement, ''Are you not inviting me inside?" 

Daisy checked the time on her watch and responded with a straight, ''I came from work an hour ago so ideally, when I am not working, I don't have any obligations to entertain you unless it is anything serious.'' 

Ryle's lips twitched. The more he interacted with this young lad, the more he realized that 'Dexter' was like an exotic treasure. He could be annoying to death but he was equally funny too.
