The news of Jonathan, one of the top officials from the Night Empire's death had spread like wildfire. The news had spread super fast. Just within a few hours after he was confirmed to be dead, the news had spread throughout Emberfall City even though under the city Lord's orders, all the knights tried to suppress the news for as long as possible. 

It wasn't just possible to suppress this news as Jonathan could be considered a big shot in Emberfall City. After all, he was one of the oldest and most experienced officials of the night empire. All the big elites and rich people of the city knew Jonathan very well. So upon his death, the news spread like wildfire in every direction.

There was also the fact that his whole house was burned, and there was no way that such news could be suppressed for long. The news quickly spread from mouth to mouth and reached the ears of everyone in the city.
