She leaned down to look inside the well and sighed. Tucking back her hair behind her ear as the evening wind blew.
"I told you not to be a curious cat," she scolded looking at the well to receive a small 'meow' from it. Her cat had stepped on the edge of the well no matter how many times she placed it back on the ground and as expected it fell inside it,
"You know what I'm going to leave you here and get you once you reflect on what you did," she said firmly and heard her cat meowing non-stop as though it was asking for her forgiveness.
Spotting a bucket with a rope around it she took it and lowered the object down carefully but the length fell short. The cat could get into it if it tried but it seemed to have different plans as it sat down. She leaned forward as she stood on her toes, making the bucket touch the cat.
"A little more and you can provide the cat with your company," a voice said behind her, leading her to almost fall in if it weren't for the stranger's hands.
"My my, what a troublesome girl," the owner of the hands around her waist said.
Lillian was adopted by a demon couple and was happy with how her life was going on until an unfortunate incident. An incident that will pull her back to where she belongs. Juggling with her past and present will she survive the future?

Whenever you see any book by Ash_knight just read it. You'll do yourself some good. It's a breath of fresh air, refreshening, intriguing and usually not so predictable and that is what causes the excitement and the ohs and ahhh! And then you feel like jumping all over the place...lolxx enough of all this long talk but I was a bit sceptical about reading it because of the demon reference, you know, those are evil spirits, I won't like to mention them over and over in a fiction..but this Author made me do it. Good job
Okay, so I read this book a few months ago on Wattpad, and IT's really one of the best for me. First of all, the cover is great, the plot is well planned out, and it doesn't have much grammatical errors. I recommend this story for anyone who is interested. You won't regret it!
I was literally reading it on Wattpad an hour ago... And after taking a break it suddenly changed and I got the update of this story being split into another app, which is this. I can't believe it but this is lit one of the most amazing stories I like!! I hope you update soon Ms. Author coz I'm only five chapters away from the end-Epilogue and I can't contain the excitement..! 💓
This story is amazing 🙂 I have read it on Wattpad already and I loved it. The concept of story as well as the characters of the story will make you more and more curious, each time you will read it. The best part is - that the way the supernatural part is depicted in this story gives you goosebumps and makes you believe for a moment that supernaturals do exist.....!🙂 Keep writing new stories like this one.
WHEN I first started reading novels in wattpad, THIS was the story that made me abandon my goodnight sleep and finish reading. Every character and the story ploy is amazing. Especially the crossover between different supernatural categories. I love your works Author - San! Keep going!
I had previously read this book on Wattpad and I fell in love with the story. I am kind of upset that it has been transferred here because I feel wattpad more convening for myself but I am willing to give this platform a chance since I love this story so much. I guess that I have to work hard to be able to earn the stones to read. I was so sad to have the story cut off and transferred but I hope that I can read it soon. This book from what I have read so far is fantastic and I can’t wait to read more. <3

This is the most easygoing yet intersting story i've read so far. Grammatical errors did dampen my mood at the start but story development was worth overlooking slight flaws. Plot is very smooth and it keeps you interested without any unnecessary drama involved. I loved it...!

Beautiful story though it felt a little short. Loved every bit of the journey. I'm glad it had a happy ending though. Though I would've loved seeing the reaction of the family in the end. ❤️

This book is just absolutely amazing I recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance/ mystical wonder. I have read it three times already on wattpad and I am still considering to buy the chapters to read it again. The characters stole my heart and the plot twists are just - SOMETHING! This author is my favourite and all her books are amazing but this is my absolute favourite book ever and that's saying a lot since I'm a horror and mystery fan. I recommend it with every bone in my body!!
