Kapitel 28: Who Said I'm Scared?

Liu Xiuying felt safe and secure in the man's embrace. His arm was tightly wrapped around her waist which made her body to be pressed against his. 

Liu Xiuying slowly opened her eyes and blinked. The man's scent was a bit familiar, but she didn't know where and when she had met him. She slowly raised her head only to meet the dark brown eyes of the man. She didn't know whether she was seeing things, but the anger in his eyes was evident. It made her body tremble and her toes curl.

"Mr... Mr Liu?" She opened her mouth, stuttering that name out of her mouth.

This same gaze was the one she received from him the other day when he threatened her to stay away from Mo Yanlin. 

It was scary; not as scary as Mo Yanlin's gaze.

Liu Chaoxiao snorted coldly as he looked at her. He hadn't expected the person he would save would be his worst enemy; his rival. If he had known she would be the one, he would have allowed her to fall gracefully.
