Kapitel 69: Scarlet – The Effects of Mist

Kane found some plants to help with Leo. He has been in and out of it for the past two days. Kane summoned a folding stretcher to carry Leo. He used the air to help with the weight. From an odd angle, it would look like the mist was carrying the stretcher. I knew better. She seemed nice enough but strange. There was no reason for her to help us or Leo. Her goal was to keep us from reaching the gate to the other section of this world.

Leo was no longer unresponsive. He woke whenever I fed him the medicine Kane made. We had to juice the fruits to feed him. He did not seem to like it or wanted to eat. Regardless of his loss of appetite, he drank everything we fed him. The natural color of his skin returned with time.
