Witch: "Who are you, and where am I?"

Dia: "I am Dia Eucus Gremory, a devil of the Gremory family. I just saved you from death. What is your name?"

Witch: "I thank you for saving me, and to answer your question, I am Aurora, a executive of the Sorcery Society."

Dia: "Pleased to meet you, Aurora. But I'm curious—how did a executive of the Sorcery Society end up at the stake?"

Aurora: "I sacrificed my life to save a young witch who was not yet 10 years old, and then I used my power to prevent them from pursuing the child."

Dia: "Is there no place where your society can live safely?"

Aurora: "We have certain places, but sometimes a witch is born to normal parents, and we can't be everywhere to save them."

Dia: "And how is the defense system in those places?"

Aurora: "We have defense spells that might be effective, but they're far from sufficient."

I started thinking about a solution.

Dia: "Why not gather all the witches in one place and create an absolutely secure base? We could add runes and protection spells everywhere to shield it. They would also need to create escape routes that only witches can use."

Aurora: "Calm down, we don't even know how to use runes."

Dia: "You don't, but I do. I know how to do it."

Aurora: "Why are you doing this?"

Dia: "I have a goal of creating a place where demi-humans and other races who would be persecuted by humans can live together."

Aurora: "It's madness to ask everyone to unite."

I smiled a little.

Dia: "They've all experienced the same suffering, and many just want to live in peace. Plus, I'm not forcing anyone to live there—it's simply to protect them."

Aurora: "How can you guarantee their protection?"

Dia: "I'm an expert in runes, and I love creating traps with them. We can also use your power and the unique abilities of each person. It's just a dream for now, but I'm going to try to make it a reality."

Aurora: "It sounds crazy, but at the same time, it makes me want to try. I'll ask my counterparts if they'd be interested in this."

Dia: "It would be more than just a safe place, but we can think about the details later."
