"Ignore him, darling." Mr Greystone said as he led me to a seat beside his. Holding me by my waist, he whispered in my ears, behind me. "He hates that you're the one girl he likes that he's never going to sleep with."

" You hurt me, Rowan." Rylan said with mock concern. " I'm Rylan by the way. Ryder for shorts." He introduced himself.

I smiled genuinely at Rylan in response. I didn't know him that well but I could tell he was the life of every normal gathering. "I am Amanda Ezeh."

" We know. You see, you are quite popular." Rylan said with a charming smile. " Especially on TikTok. You could easily start a career as an influencer with the millions of followers you have."

My eyes almost popped out from its socket as I heard what Rylan had said. He noticed how surprised I was and asked. "You don't know? You really haven't checked the numbers recently."
