Chapter 48: Take Him For A Joke

Xavier POV

I didn't know why I was listening but I did. 

And I got angry at the fact that she was telling me all that. She was breaking one of the rules I attached to the contract and it was making me furious. 

"You just broke a rule, you know? No talking of each other's past, remember?" I said, turning to her, my eyes blaring with rage and anger. 

Her eyes were supposed to melt a heart but it couldn't. Not to mine, those eyes were getting blurry with drops of water which were threatening to fall. 

"Maybe you are wrong? And this place is not a place to forget your worries and sorrow but a place to make you remember them all" I said, getting up from the chair walking past her.
