Nora Andrews had always known a life of luxury. The Andrews estate was a symbol of wealth and status, and as the eldest daughter of one of the most influential families in the city, Nora had been accustomed to the finer things in life. Her mother, Evelyn Andrews, was a graceful woman who had dedicated her life to her family, ensuring that Nora and her younger sister, Emily, were raised with the utmost care and love.

But everything changed the day Mr. Andrew brought home his mistress, Helena, and her daughter, Vanessa. Nora had always admired her father, but his sudden decision to introduce these strangers into their lives shattered her world. Helena was a manipulative woman, and Vanessa, though younger than Nora, was equally cunning.
