Kapitel 4: Tic Tac .

My friend Mohammed and I have decided to travel to Morocco the day after tomorrow. We will take the book with us and only inform my mother because she will be worried and might cause problems if we follow someone. The second reason is to reassure people in the town if we are delayed. It's all for the teacher. As for me, I have no one to search for except my mother, but she means everything to me. The teacher took the book with him to his rented house because he lives alone and can hide it. I went to tell my mother, and when I entered the house, I found her waiting for me at the dining table. I greeted her and sat in front of her to have some food. She told me that today is the first day of school and asked me not to cause any trouble and to be honest, even if it's just once, to avoid long-term social problems. After finishing my meal, I told her that I have a friend now, and I can see a happy expression on her face. Then she asked about our trip to Africa, expressing her concern about famine and poverty there. I explained that I'm going with him just to accompany him, and from there, I will travel a little and explore places beyond Honshu and Hokkaido, and we can't judge a place as poor or rich, hungry or full until we experience it firsthand.

My mother agreed because it had been a long time since we left this town and I made a friend. I finished dinner and asked her to lend me some money. She agreed, and I told her to go to sleep, promising to give her what she wanted tomorrow. I went up to my room, took two suits and put them in my school bag. I lay down on the bed, still not understanding this strange turn in my life. The last thing I said before sleeping was, "Let's see where fate takes us." In the morning, at the agreed upon time, I prepared myself, and my mother gave me 250 yen. I knew it was a lot for her, but I would do my best to repay her. She gave me all the advice I needed, bid her farewell, and I headed to Muhammad's house. He was waiting for me, and the first thing I asked him was where the book was. He replied, "Don't worry, I have it with me." We headed to the train station and then to the airport.

We took the train to Tokyo Airport, where we caught our first flight in two hours to Casablanca. We got two tickets on Mohammed's account because he knows I'm just a student with no income. Our eyes never left the book as we waited. I pondered the beauty of these events: meeting a friend who shares your thoughts and values, leaving your city on a trip, boarding a plane, heading to Morocco for the first time, and embracing a new culture and perspective, all while searching for the book's content. I hope this journey goes well by God's grace. A man called out to those heading to Morocco, so Mohammed and I followed him to the plane. As I'm a minor, being 17 years old, I didn't need a passport. They checked our bags and Mohammed's passport, but they didn't notice the book (I was afraid they would confiscate it, but they didn't pay attention). Then we entered the plane and sat down. The plane took off, and what a beautiful feeling it was. Then it leveled in the sky, and I started feeling sleepy. I slept and asked Mohammed to keep an eye on the book because we didn't leave it with the luggage out of fear for it. I slept for 6 hours, and only two hours remained. Then we switched roles.

We arrived safely and headed towards the taxis. I don't know anything, so I just followed Muhammad. After an hour, we were at rental houses. Muhammad hugged the book, and we simply slept, ignoring everything. Tomorrow morning, we will go to Mr. Karaman.
