Kapitel 71: In The Same Room

Zyair stayed near the window, simply watching her at times and sometimes turning his face away. Her small snores filled the vicinity now that she was fast asleep. The curtain of her fiery tresses were spread like Phoenix feathers all over the white pillow, a few strands had fallen over her face.

Zyair slowly sat down on the armchair that rested in the corner of her room with his hands clasped and legs spread. He wondered why she hadn't changed her clothes or taken off his jacket. Did it bring her some kind of comfort?

This woman was a puzzle and he couldn't wait for her to finally open up to him. Share whatever she was going through, what she went through without any filters. Just like she had done with Calix in that Golden Room.

She had trusted him enough to let him inside her room and he would never break it, so he stayed at a distance although when his body ached to hold her.
