The rest of Skyla's day was spent with a content smile on her face. The morning interaction had brightened her mood and the belief that Zyair was one of a kind man began to deeply root in her.

She had begun to wonder about his life story though. What could have prompted his gynophobia? Was he always uncomfortable in the company of women? Or did some unfortunate incident lead to his condition? Could he be gay and wished to hide the fact from the world?

The last question made her chuckle to herself. Whatever it was, she wanted to guarantee that he would never feel uncomfortable on her pretext.

Skyla digitalised all the files she had been instructed to and ended her day's work. She then decided to get changed. Zyair had informed her during their lunch break that they would head down to their event hall after finishing their work.

Her door knocked and she knew it was Lawrence. He always had that specific impatient knock.
