Kapitel 76: Calix or Zyair

He slowly rubbed the side of her head which had hit the glass hoping she wasn't in pain.

Skyla's left hand shifted and elegantly rested on Zyair's knee and he finally was able to see her wedding ring close by. The letter S was embossed in it with a small diamond.

Great care had been taken in designing this ring to show the world she was cared for and yet that ugly scar that rested below her ring finger told him otherwise.

Using his teeth Zyair removed his glove and threw it on the seat and finally, he took her delicate hand in his. The contact so electrifying so meaningful, so very profound for him.

His thumb softly grazed the burnt spot but there was a blinding rage inside of him. Like a dormant volcano, so calm outwardly but there was an unfathomable amount of scorching lava ready to destroy the man responsible.
