Kapitel 48: The Doll's Brother-and-Sister-in-law

"How so?" Evan's brows were knitted together, his forehead creasing.

Cynthia gave him a disapproving look.

"Really, Evan?"

"I mean," Evan cleared his throat, trying to make sense of the information (or lack thereof) that Cynthia shared. "I knew you guys were prone to bickering, but it just never occurred to me that you'd hate the thought of seeing him after so long!"

Cynthia's blush deepened, and she looked away in embarrassment.

Blood drained from Evan's face, and his mouth was slightly agape.

"Don't tell me he actually fucked you?!'

"Evan!" Eternity and Cynthia shouted at the same time. 

The former looked like she was about to swat him on the arm, while the latter covered her face with her hands in embarrassment.

"What?!" Evan shouted defensively. "Freiheit–-"

Evan bit his lips, stopping himself from sputtering out his brother's secret just because he was overwhelmed.
