Soon, the crowd dispersed and Liu Ming got into that white Volkswagen and drove off. Xia Yuwei struggled to get up and staggered like a drunkard as she walked because she had been kicked in the foot.

She suddenly raised her head and noticed the man in a white shirt and black trousers who stood nearby. This was a man so familiar to her that she'd be able to recognize him with her eyes closed.

She walked up to the man and wiped the bloodstains away from her mouth.

"What are you doing here?" She glared angrily at the man in front of her, her ex-husband. She couldn't understand how she could possibly run into someone she didn't want to see -- here, of all places, since Ye City was so big.

"You must have loved it when you watched me being beaten earlier," Xia Yuwei scoffed coldly, her eyes blazing with anger. She hadn't been able to release her anger earlier and it was trapped inside her, itching to be released.
