Kapitel 45: A Real Battle

Vlovnir's arrival brought great change to the fight. All of a sudden, the testing phase was over. Initially, everyone fought just to analyze their opponents and learn as much as they could from them. After all, no one wants to engage in a death combat in a battlefield where luck has too much influence. 

The presence of Active Runes deterred everyone from fighting seriously up until this point. Everyone around had tasted battle through the course of their 20-year lives. They had seen death and had smelled the blood that came alongside it. No one had seen him fight, but all were certain that death was caused by his hands. 

Even Val lost her carefree attitude and turned serious as the looming threat of death filled the area.
