Kapitel 223: The reward for waiting

The only question remained, what to do with Giselle herself?

Raphael regained full consciousness when he thought about this question. He was still enjoying the beautiful view that caressed his eyes. Thea was asleep, but she looked incredibly attractive, like blood and milk.

He reluctantly looked away and returned his thoughts to Giselle. 

More recently, after he allowed Pegins to escape, leaving the throne, Raphael was going to unite the once disparate Kardran Empire. But now he seemed to lose interest in it at one point.

There was no longer a desire to prove something to someone, to be stronger or more majestic. Now he just wanted to step away from all these things and devote his life to the woman he loved. Propose to her, have children, and never let her go again, even if he had to give up his title.
