Kapitel 144: A power with no name.

Li Jun watched with wide eyes as the darkness within eternal darkness enveloped him. There was something poetic about the sentiment; however, before the gnashing rows of teeth could reach him, the bird's beak shot wide open, and it retreated.

"You see. If you don't wish to be harmed, then you shall not be harmed. You are the ruler of this domain." The voice boomed through the void once more. 

'So this really is my imagination?' Li Jun wondered. Everything seemed so real, but if he could make a thought come true, then it had to be inside his head.

"Not your imagination but your consciousness. This is the place in your mind where your life force exists. The soul, as you humans call it."

Li Jun looked up at the bird, and he could tell by its observant eyes that it was judging him as it spoke.
