Kapitel 19: Training
Lin was standing there and watching them. Liana hit the ball and it came towards Lin. He grabbed it with his hand.
Liana came to him, "Mr. Yang, I...I am sorry. I didn't mean to hit you."
He gave back her the ball," it's fine. I wasn't hit at all and one more thing call me Brother from
now on as I am your sister's friend."
She nodded.
"You came early", Mia said.
Lin smiled, "I was just free so, I thought about coming in advance. Don't mind me and continue playing."
Cheng came to Mia, "Sister, I am tired now. Let's eat the dessert."
He wiped his sweat with his sleeve.
Liana spoke, "He is right sister, Let's eat the dessert. Mr. Ya... I mean brother Lin can also join us."
Mia looked at Lin, "Do you accept my sibling's offer?"
He nodded, "If you don't mind."
"Then follow us in", she told him.
She turned towards the twins, "You both first put all the bats and balls back."
Mia went to the kitchen while the three of them were waiting for her at the dining table.
She came to the dining room holding a tray. She put it on the table. All three of them were focused on the dessert dish.
The dessert was decorated with fruits and jellies in the form of a flower and a bird.
"You are creative Mia", Lin complimented her.
"Wow", the twins exclaimed together.
They all ate the dessert. Lin put his arm around Cheng's shoulders, "Man, you are really lucky to have a sister like her who cook delicacies for you."
Cheng smiled, "We have barely the chance to eat her handmade things because she is busy most of the time."
Lin got close to Cheng and whispered something into his ear.
Cheng stared at him, "Are you serious? She will kill you."
Mia got curious, "What did he say to you?"
Cheng was about to speak when Lin covered his mouth with his hand and smiled, "It's something between brothers. You shouldn't ask."
Cheng nodded.
Liana spoke, "Sister there is some conspiracy going on."
Cheng laughed, "Come on. You should stop watching those crime movies."
She got annoyed," what about you? You should also stop watching those mystery movies. Day by day you are becoming mysterious."
He proudly replied, "I am proud of being mysterious. Anyways mysterious people are always interesting unlike you."
Liana got angry but before she could say anything Mia spoke, "Both of you enough. Go back to your rooms and if I find you fighting then you know the punishment yourself."
Liana spoke angrily, "Sister whenever it's my turn to say anything to him you just stop me."
Mia stared at her.
She stood up, "Alright, I am going."
They both went away. Mia picked the dishes from the table, "You wait here, I will fastly wash these dishes."
She went away. When she came back after washing the dishes Lin wasn't sitting there.
Lin entered the study room of Mia.
He went to a wall where many paintings were hung. Each of them had Mia's signature on them.
He took off a painting from the wall and began to observe it.
"Haven't I told you to wait for me there then why did you come here?", she asked him and tooled the painting from his hands and hung back.
"Did you paint them all? They are amazing, I want to see your other artworks like them", Lin asked her.
She stared at him, "Tomorrow, I had to go to school and for that, I had to sleep early. But it will be only possible if your training completes soon. Some other day I will show the others to you", Mia told him.
They both went out of the study room. A magical stone in the drawer of the study room began to shine.
They both reached the Magical Arena of the Magical Island.
Mia looked at Lin, "First of all I need to find out your control over your power. I will begin with simple steps. Once you learn them, you will be able to fight efficiently. So. the first thing is that summon your magical weapons."
He stared at her blankly, "How do we do that?"
Mia was shocked after hearing him, "You can't summon weapons. Wait... don't tell me you can't even transform."
He laughed, "Come on. At least I can do that much."
"Then transform", she said.
He knelt on the ground and turned into a big White Wolf.
Mia went close to him, "Great. Now I will also transform into a wolf and you had to dodge my attacks. Keep one thing in mind that once I transform I am your enemy, not my friend so, use your full strength. With each attack, I will be increasing my power."
She was surrounded by fog and when the fog disappeared a big wolf with shining silver hair appeared.
She charged toward. Lin successfully dodged her.
They did the same almost five times but the sixth time Lin wasn't able to dodge and got hit by Mia. He fell at a distance and transformed back. Mia also transformed back.
She ran towards Lin, "Are you alright?"
He was laying on the ground. He looked at her and laughed, "Who would have thought that small and delicate-looking girl like you can be this fierce?"
"You have quite the energy to laugh. It seems that you are fine. Get up we had only got one week", Mia told him.
Mia gave him hand. He got up, "Mia you are cruel. I am really tired."
They continued their practice till evening.
Lin was once again laying on the ground but this time he was more breathless than before.
Mia looked at him and laughed, "Look at you. As tired as if you ran a marathon race. You have to build up your strength or your magic alone can't help you. You can face thirty percent of my power. It is more than enough. Now through today's training, you can easily dodge your enemy. Get up we had to go. Tomorrow you can rest because there will be no training tomorrow."
He got up from the ground, "Let's do the training tomorrow as well. As you said we have only one week."
Mia sighed and looked at him, "Actually, I have to attend your family's event tomorrow."
Lin stared at her.
