"You want a church wedding?" he seethed. Giving her a quizzical look.

"Are you sure you're also willing to perform the duties that come with being a married woman?" her eyes shot up to meet his green forest as seemed pleased with the look on her face. The sounds of her heartbeat could be heard in the quiet room after the true extent of what she was asking for settled in.

"Believe me, dear, if I take you to that altar, it will be till death do us part. You know why?" she gave a little shake of her head. "because I don't break my promise."

His eyes traveled briefly to the erratic rise and fall of her chest.
"Now tell me, Em..." fixing his gaze back on her, he bend over to her shoulders and said slowly to her ears.
