Diego came down from the taxi, that he boarded which stopped him in front of Tervin's house, there wasn't much security that was needed for him because he's friend's with Tervin. So, when he entered the estate he didn't find anything unusual or out of place.

That was because he was too busy calling Tara, but she wasn't picking up his calls, neither was she scared of what he will do for shutting him out. Clearly, this was why he's here to set things straight with her.
