Why the heck had I said that to her? I just panicked for a moment. For stupid reasons I couldn't tell, I liked the way she'd called it her home, and I liked that someone thought of my cold, lonely house as a home.

"Boss, she's home." I whipped around almost immediately at Leo's voice, storming to the door to exit my room. I'd been waiting for Harley till seven in the evening. I didn't know where she went. I tried calling several times, but she wouldn't pick up. In fact, her phone was turned off, almost as if to avoid any of my calls. As much as I hated to say it, I was a bit worried.
