Kapitel 101: Assistance in distress

They were right. As soon as they got off the metro, Jack received several messages from his employer asking how his mentee were doing.

He wrote back that he had to go to the pharmacy and go shopping to cook them some soup.

They actually walked into a supermarket on the way from the metro to Matthew's apartment. Each of them felt like eating something different, so they had a problem with how to arrive at a conclusion regarding their meal plan. However, in the end, they left the supermarket laden with bags with a supply of food for a good week.

Matthew didn't have the strength to argue with them that his fridge and freezer were limited in size and that it was the middle of summer, so all food was difficult to store there.

“Take it easy.” Jo tried to cheer him up, as she walked beside him. She was also carrying a plastic bag full of cheese in her uninjured hand.

“I don’t accept throwing away any food!”

“We won't throw anything away. I promise.”
