"So Macey, what would you like to talk about today?" Olga asks as I continue to stare down at my crossed fingers, my mantra still playing in my head since dad dropped me off an hour ago.

"Do you want to talk about the weather? Or maybe about your college transcripts that you sent out?

I am my master's pet.

"Macey, this only works if I get some kind of dialogue from you, you know that don't you?"

My eyes shut as images plague my mind of moments with Michael. How kind and affectionate he was, his protective manner. Were they all for nothing?

"How about we talk about your relationship with Michael?" My eyes pop open glaring immediately at Olga's smug smile.

I do not like that smile.

"There she is, I knew you were in there somewhere."

"I don't know what you want me from me?" I shrug looking away from her peering eyes.
