Kapitel 256: So Stingy

Su Rui stared at her son with a dazed look on her face, unable to believe what she was hearing. Her eyes shifted to Ye Qing Xin before finally moving to her son's hand that was holding onto Ye Qing Xin's hand. 

A soft gasp escaped her.

What was even more surprising was that it didn't look as if Ye Qing Xin was trying to struggle out of her son's grip.

Su Rui's mind was blank for a brief second. It took her a while to process the whole thing.

A while ago, she had thought that it would be nice if her son could date a nice girl like Ye Qing Xin. But now that her son was announcing that he was dating Ye Qing Xin, Su Rui was having a hard time believing this news.

She even considered the possibility of her being pranked. But then, they were at Qi Zheng's wedding and it seemed unlikely that her son would pick this occasion to prank her.

Moreover, Ye Qing Xin's shy smile told her that her son was not lying.
