Kapitel 249: Sacrificial Lambs

The night was dark and gloomy. There were no stars in the sky. The moon was nowhere to be seen. Worst of all, the clouds were pregnant with rain.

Lightning flashed through the vast sky from time to time. Occasionally, they would be accompanied by the sound of thunder.

Though Samira loved this kind of weather, she felt weary of it tonight. It made her heart skip a beat.

Was she to blame? Given that she was currently disguised and invisible to the naked eyes as she and her brother explored the entire palace. 

Obviously, there were places they couldn't get access too. That included one of the rooms located in the basement.

The pair of siblings paced around waiting for someone to open the door.It was sealed with a powerful magic that neither could break.

The only way inside was for someone to open it. Someone who was not affected by the seal. They didn't have to wait long before several footsteps approached the area.
