I placed my palm against his chest and rubbed it in circles. When he did not stop vibrating in anger, I forced his head down to look at me and that’s when the black left his eyes and they returned to their normal colour. He looked down at me with so much tenderness and warmth I melted into a puddle.

“Xander, you need to calm down and understand that Blake is my best friend…and he’s been like a brother to me since the day we met. So please do not try to kill him the next time he decides to hug me, okay?” I said this with a pout for extra dramatic effect and hoping that seeing me like that will help him calm down.
