Kapitel 70: Heart to heart

Blood was splattered all over the room. It was as if someone was planning to paint the whole room red, but lazed around at some parts, and only a few parts were not red. Even they had slight flecks of red on them. 

Beneath the east wall, there was a man lying on the ground. To call him a man was an overstatement. It was better to call him an upper torso. He did not have legs, arms and clearly, nothing in between the legs.

The man did not even have any power to scream. Who else could this be but Peter? Peter was barely gasping for air. Blood gashed from his wounds, which were practically all over his body. To see a human in this pathetic situation might cause anyone to rage, but every one else in the room was perfectly calm.

The council members were not even watching and were talking amongst themselves. Lucas was right in front of Peter. He was watching Peter with wide open, red, and unblinking eyes.
